START UP POLICY

One trip for supervisory start-up service is included with the purchase of each new system sold by Signa Mechanical. If the station or any part thereof is not ready for start-up as advised below, a return trip at additional cost will be required. Our service technicians will not wait on site for work to be completed. Additional trips or man hours required for a follow-up start-up service due to delays not caused by Signa Mechanical will be charged at the regular service rate for your location.

Upon submission of this form to Signa Mechanical, any re-scheduling must be done at least 48 hours prior to scheduled appointment. If proper notice is not given, up to 8 hours will be charged against time allotted for start-up.

Not sure which station type to choose?

Below are a few general tips to determine the type of station you have. Due to the custom nature of some equipment, the information below may not be applicable or relevant for all systems. 

LPS System

You may have an LPS System if…

  • The equipment brand is Sierra Peak Pump Systems (often notated on the packing slip)
  • The pump(s) and level controls have not yet been shipped to the site (the startup technician will bring these)
  • The pump(s) are 2 HP or less

Large Lift Station

You may have an Large Lift Station if…

  • The equipment brand is Signa or Keen (often notated on the packing slip)
  • The pump(s) and level controls have been shipped to the site and installed
  • The pump(s) are 3 HP+ grinders or…
  • The pump(s) are solids handling with a 3″+ discharge
